Job Summary: The Lead Technician is responsible for assisting the Facilities/Tech Team with the planned and reactive maintenance throughout the attraction to ensure the day-to-day operation is running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position is also responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the attraction including the rides, cinema, equipment, and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensures the safety of all team members and guests.
• Assists with supporting Technician development through effective training, coaching, and leadership.
• Assists with monitoring the Technicians to maintain compliance with all cash handling guidelines, operating
procedures, and guest service standards.
• Oversees opening, operating, and closing procedures.
• Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots all aspects of the attraction's equipment and machinery including
HVAC, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems as well as rides and themed
attractions.
• Utilizes hands-on knowledge and experience to solve problems to sustain minimal downtime of rides and
themed attractions for the maximum guest experience.
• Position functions will include custodial duties, re-lamping & lighting systems, painting and wall repair, food
and beverage equipment, shipping and receiving as well as exhibit setup and take-down.
• The above list is not exclusive or exhaustive and may require undertaking such tasks as may reasonably be
expected within the scope and grading of the role.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required. Technical college degree preferred. At least two years of service industry
experience in a technical/themed environment. Self-motivated with previous maintenance experience with
maintaining a wide range of equipment including rides. Experience in maintaining flexibility and the highest level of
service in high-pressure and/or stressful situations.
Licenses and Certifications
Ability to obtain related licensures or certification as may be required to perform the essential function of the
position or as required by law.
Travel Requirements:
• May occasionally require local travel.

• Attendance is a mandatory function of this job.

site operations.

coordination.
• May be exposed to a loud work environment.
• May operate heavy power equipment.
• May work at height 20+ feet.
• May work with corrosive materials.
• May be occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, hazardous chemicals, fluorescent lamps or
batteries, hazardous waste.
Environmental Factors
• Depending on location, work may be performed inside or outside with varying temperatures and floor
surfaces.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions.
• Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distractions.
• Exposure to shaking objects and equipment.
• Exposure to varying light levels while transitioning in and out of the attraction at various times of the
workday.
Lifting Requirements
• May be required to lift or carry items weighing up to 70 pounds with or without reasonable
accommodation.
