LEGOLAND Florida Resort is looking for excited and enthusiastic Model Citizens to fill our Guest Experience Host role in various guest facing departments.

About our guest facing roles...

Resort Ops Host- Attractions:

  • You will work in a specific zone within the resort, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest service while promoting company values.
  • After training and clearance, you will oversee the rides you operate, coordinating staff and ensuring smooth operations throughout the day. You will maintain attraction efficiency to minimize queue times and maximize throughput, delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure the safety of guests by enforcing attraction rules and restrictions, such as height and weight requirements. Provide clear instructions to guests about safety procedures.
  • Assist guests in entering and exiting attractions, ensuring they are properly secured before the ride starts. Address any concerns or questions guests may have and provide a positive experience.
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures in case of an accident or malfunction. Know how to handle situations correctly and where to find emergency equipment.
  • Performs opening and closing routines as defined by the operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with other operators, supervisors, and resort employees to ensure smooth operations. Follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Liaison leadership team to resolve any resort wide guest issues.

Resort Ops Host-Experience:

  • You will work in a variety of zones across the resort, completing key functions of different areas to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service while promoting company values.
  • Ensure efficient guest flow and provide exceptional service at entrances, ticket scanning, and admission areas.
  • Complete retail tasks in a timely manner, including handling sales transactions and inventory, stock loss control, loss prevention, and providing upselling opportunities.
  • Assist with shows, educational classes, and building experiences, including venue preparation and guest engagement.
  • Performs opening and closing routines as defined by the operating procedures.
  • Liaison leadership team to resolve any resort wide guest issues.

Resort Ops Host-Presentation:

  • You will work in a specific zone within the resort, completing different key custodial functions to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service while promoting company values.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the resort, including trash management and restroom upkeep.
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming public areas.
  • Emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, including benches, tables, and handrails.
  • Regularly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
  • Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Addressing any restroom-related issues promptly.
  • Providing directions and information for guests when needed.
  • Responding to guest requests for cleaning or assistance.
  • Maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.

Waste Management Technician:

As a Host in Park Presentation, you’ll oversee maintaining the high standard of cleanliness that LEGOLAND Florida Resort strives to accomplish. We’ll need you to make safety the number one priority and you will represent the Grounds department as a Park Ambassador. The work you’ll be doing could be the difference between a bad experience and an awesome day at our amazing resort.

  • Sweeps and litter picks park walkways as designated and maintains cleanliness of landscaped areas.
  • Replaces all paper and liquid products in all park restrooms.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated restrooms.
  • Uses liquid and dry detergents and chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Responsible for emptying all trash cans along a designated route and relocating full trash containers to an outside transfer station.
  • May have to clean up body fluid spills from park restrooms and other park locations.
  • Occasionally uses heavy equipment including air blower, power washer and industrial vacuum.

Resort Ops Host:

The Resort Experience role is responsible for helping LEGOLAND Florida Resort Guests find their seats, disseminate information about the show and the resort, distribute special effects glasses as necessary, and participate with the show to encourage audience participation. The role has high visibility within the venues, functioning as a greeter, support for the show, and assisting Guests as necessary. Reports to the team leaders and area leaders in the day-to-day operations of the venue and in maintaining the high standards of the resort / guest experience.

  • Ensures the venues are clean, safe, and ready to accommodate guests by completing the opening and closing checklists.
  • Greets every guest as they enter the venue and provide information about the show.
  • Answers questions about shows, other events in the resort, and locations of key resort areas such as restrooms and concessions.
  • Cleans venues thoroughly after every show.
  • Provides assistance to any guest with special needs.
  • Handles guest complaints, involving a supervisor if needed.
  • Enters guest counts hourly.
  • Assists guests with company protocols and procedures.
