Key Responsibilities
Attraction & Equipment Maintenance
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all areas of attraction equipment and machinery, including:
HVAC systems
Electrical and electronic systems
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Plumbing systems
Themed attractions
Troubleshoot and sustain minimal downtime of themed attractions to maximize guest experience.
Repair and maintain attraction systems, rides, and tech equipment.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks (Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly).
Troubleshoot, repair, or replace control devices.
General Facilities Upkeep
Perform custodial duties, painting, wall repair, and re-lamping.
Install and replace light bulbs, projector lamps, doors, etc.
Repair and/or paint interior walls; hang pictures; assemble furniture.
Monitor and maintain all building systems; correct or report safety/fire hazards.
Observe safe working practices; maintain clean and organized storage areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Audio/Visual & Technology Support
Maintain and troubleshoot Audio/Visual equipment for both old and new exhibits.
Set up and install data cables; install/repair computer outlets and bundles.
Install and maintain various tech systems and devices, including AV and lighting systems.
Logistics & Operations
Assist with exhibit setup and takedown.
Support shipping and receiving operations.
Set up and operate hand tools and power equipment.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge
Data and networking systems
Hydraulic and pneumatic control systems (linear actuators, solenoids, pumps, motors)
Electronics (AV systems, DMX lighting, PC hardware/software)
Low voltage wiring (maglocks, proximity sensors, servos, low-voltage batteries)
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, safety practices, and proper PPE use
Skilled in tool and equipment usage, proper maintenance procedures, and industry standards

Education & Experience
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience required
Minimum 2 years in a technical/themed service environment (e.g., animation, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical/electronics, networks)
Proven ability to remain flexible while delivering exceptional service
