HSS Park Ranger Lead position at Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas Ft Worth will oversee the day-to-day administrative duties of the Park Rangers job duties. The HSS Park Ranger Lead reports to the HSS Manager and maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and employees through the effective implementation of all safety and security procedures. The HSS Park Ranger Lead is proactive in all loss control programs and puts strict emphasis on health and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead by example and collaborate with all departments to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences.
  • Responsible for training and onboarding all Park Rangers on Peppa Pig Theme Park policies and procedures.
  • Handle administrative duties including payroll, recognition platforms, schedules, recordkeeping, performance tracking documents, and personnel files.
  • Collaborates with all park department leadership in the execution of HSS processes to achieve park and department health and safety targets. 
  • Support special events as assigned including character offsite requests, partnership events, and internal park events.
  • Working with our Guests, Patrons, Visitors, and Contractors to ensure compliance and a positive guest experience.
  • Securing facilities, equipment, and other assets to prevent loss and/or damage.
  • Patrolling all areas and maintaining surroundings.
  • Assisting all departments in safety and Guest Service-focused efforts.
  • Checking bags and granting/refusing guest admission depending on whether contraband is found.
  • Managing the Property’s lost & found and logging it into a tracking system to ensure the safe return to guests.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment (CCTV), access, and exit points to prevent loss of assets and unauthorized access to the property.
  • Inspecting buildings and equipment in line with Department and Park policies and procedures.
  • Preventing loss and damage by responding to emergencies, reporting irregularities, and enforcing Park policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in investigations, completing thorough typed written incident reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities—interviewing witnesses and obtaining photographs.
  • Dispatching and responding to radio calls in the park for security and medical-related needs and emergencies.
  • Assisting with monthly audits and inspections of Park fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with law enforcement and emergency response personnel.
  • Being ready to answer a large portion of first aid-related calls, such as slips, trips, and falls—while handling HIPPA-sensitive medical information with the utmost care.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to relate to people, especially families and young children. Some of these children will have special needs.
  • Deescalate volatile situations and gain compliance of unruly individuals.
  • Follow all directions of Supervisors, Senior Leadership, and Department Heads.

Education and Experience:

  • A High School or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
  • Requires the ability to successfully complete CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid training.

Pay Range

USD $19.00/Hr.
