The Rides Maintenance Technician is a critical member of the Rides & Attractions Maintenance team within our Technical Services department. In this role, you’ll help ensure a safe, reliable, and fun experience for every guest by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing our rides and attractions to the highest standards.

Install, inspect, repair, and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment on amusement park rides and attractions in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals
Perform daily ride inspections to prepare attractions for guest operation
Conduct weekly and monthly preventive maintenance, including overnight work after park closure
Operate machine tools such as drill presses, power saws, grinders, hydraulic presses, torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, reports, and inventory in the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system
Ensure compliance with ASTM, NEC, OSHA, state, and local safety and electrical codes
Maintain rides and attractions in safe working condition at all times
Follow all safety, security, and loss prevention procedures
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Proven experience installing, maintaining, and servicing electromechanical equipment
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
Strong math skills
Willingness to obtain AIMS Level 1 Maintenance Technician Certification within 18 months of employment
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, and navigate varied terrain
Ability to lift, carry, and pull at least 50 pounds
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems (INFOR, IBM Maximo, i4EAM, MAPCON EAM)
Experience with industrial machinery and conveyor systems
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
Either Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
Rotating shifts:
Opening shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Closing shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
