As a Retail Host, you’ll be the face of fun in our shop—connecting with guests, sharing product knowledge, and helping everyone find the perfect LEGO treasure to take home. All while keeping the atmosphere safe, welcoming, and full of smiles!

 

What You’ll Be Doing

🧱 Create WOW Moments

  • Deliver exceptional guest service with enthusiasm, confidence, and positivity.

  • Actively engage with guests and bring high energy and fun to every interaction.

  • Live and breathe the Merlin Values in everything you do.

🛍️ Retail Rockstar

  • Promote products and help guests find the perfect LEGO items.

  • Maintain a strong sales focus while meeting and exceeding sales goals.

  • Keep retail displays fully stocked, organized, and looking awesome.

🎉 Guest Experience Champion

  • Manage busy retail lines safely while keeping the experience fun and friendly.

  • Communicate confidently with guests of all ages, team members, and leaders.

  • Ensure the retail area is clean, tidy, and ready to impress throughout the day.

🔐 Safety First

  • Follow opening and closing procedures as outlined in the department plan.

  • Ensure Health, Safety & Security policies are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6 months – 1 year experience working in retail, attractions, entertainment, or customer service-based positions preferred.
  • Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with both team members and guests.
  • Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills to remedy guest questions or concerns.
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
